Musical Potty Chair-Consider This Before Buying

Does your child love music? If so then perhaps a musical potty chair is a great choice for you and your child. There are plenty of kids out there who find a musical potty the perfect motivation to use the potty and if you have a child who is excited to use the potty then you are well on your way.
There are a couple of things you may want to keep in the back of your mind when it comes to a musical chair. The last thing you want is your child to consider their potty a toy, they may spend lots of time playing with it because it's fun but they may be horrified at the fact that you are supposed to make pee and poo in it.

You make think that a musical potty chair is the cutest, coolest thing for your little one and heck you may be right but you want to seriously consider if you can live with it. We live in a world of of gadgets and kids toys that make noise and music and ask yourself if you want that in a toilet as well. Now this is strictly a personal thing for me but the last thing I want to deal with is the same few songs playing over and over while I am trying to train my child on how to use the toilet.


I am not saying that the musical potty chair is a bad idea, I just don't like them. For those who don't mind and your kid loves it then all the power to you, whatever works to get them potty trained!
